The motorsport world are still stunned after General Motors announced the Holden brand would be retired by 2021. But the news has floored Australia more so with the likes of drivers such as Peter Brock, Mark Skaife and Jamie Whincup all having held the winning cup from a Holden team.
And the all time Australia’s greatest race….Bathurst where 33 of the 56 champions have come from Holden potentially leaving a huge gap in the motorsport community and potentially the end of one of Australian sport’s greatest rivalries.
